CRC CARES

CRC Cares exists to raise funds and awareness about social justice issues that are close to our hearts. The Light global is a coffee shop initiative within that structure that forms an avenue of raising funds. It sheds the light on important topics, and partners with amazing spearheading organisations to bring about change. All the shop profits goes towards these exploits and we have plans for future expansion to increase our reach. Recent CRC CARES projects include an extreme bike ride from London to Lisbon, to the benefit of one of our main partner organisations called Hope for Justice.
They exist to create awareness and change in the area of Modern Slavery and together, we have a vision to see slavery end in our lifetime. Our annual bag of love campaign for prisoners is ever increasing and growing and this will continue to be a mind focus. We have done a wide variety of other projects in the past, including work to alleviate poverty through another partner organisation, ForAfrika. Our main projects for 2026 to 2027 will be expanding our prison outreach campaign of Christmas, starting a new women’s support initiative in the area of sanitary wear, and focusing on expanding the shop and scaling it for growth.
